Face Chart- Oobyn First Look- FW08crop
Look for designer: Ooby Ryn

This is a soft romantic glamour look with the emphasis on both the eyes and the lips.

I started with our new Velvet Veil Primer base to allow the foundation to beautifully glide on and ensure staying power. I specifically wanted to achieve a light dewy look with the foundation only using concealer and powder if needed. Keeping the corrective eye technique in mind, I created the illusion of a deepened crease on the eye in a C shape with the SRA Brown Eyeliner pencil. You might choose to either draw the pencil directly onto the eye and blend or I prefer to apply the pencil with a brush to ensure soft application (there should be no visible lines). Once this step is complete, use a large blending brush and cover the entire lid and lash lines with SRA Sand Beige. To make the eyes standout I added black on the waterlines. Seal them with SRA Black Matte to ensure extra staying power.
I mixed SRA Sinful and SRA Barely There to create a stunning rich plum lip with just a smidge of SRA Wet Lips to enable a smooth application of the colour.

Lastly contour the face if necessary with bronzer and add a light sweep of SRA Mauve Rose on the apples, this looks beautiful with the lip colour.

Look for designer: Sheryl May

I designed I soft sultry look for Sherly Mays Show. The foundation, eyes and cheeks are based on the Ooby Ryn Design.

The idea was to create a matte nude lip with a slight berry undertone. I began by concealing out the lip using just small amount of concealer, I then scuffed SRA Soft Wine all over the lip. A touch of SRA Wet Lips in the centre of the bottom lip to finish the look and plumps up small lips.

The chunky gold glitter pressed onto the upper cheek bones added a point of difference and really turned it into the fun, youthful, well-travelled gipsy look that was sought after.

All of these designers had a basic sultry in mind to enhance the female models natural features whilst keeping a relaxed/casual yet high fashion look.

To put a spin on the sultry make-up, I once again wanted to create a deep dark C shape in the crease using SRA Black pencil as a base pressing SRA Black Matte over the top to ensure that the finish is solid and dark. Blend out the edges seamlessly. SRA Sand Shimmer made an excellent highlighter on the inner corners on the eye verging onto the centre on the lid and on the brow bone. SRA Black pencil on the waterlines sealed with SRA Black Matte.

I concealed out the lip and powdered. To bring back a bit of colour SRA Soft Wine pencil was used on its side and blended out with a brush to ensure no shape lines around the edges of the lip. SRA Wet Lips on the centre on the bottom lip to finish and add fullness.

To complement the makeup I kept the cheeks soft with SRA Mauve Rose on the apples.

I received strict instructions to keep the male makeup as natural as possible. So I decided to only conceal if it was necessary and powder.

Face Chart- Crowded Elevator- FW08crop
Streetwear Look for: Crowded Elevator

Most of the models in this show had the sultry look also. However, the dark eye was paired up with brightly coloured lips in shades such as, orange, fuchsia, and purple.

There were three girls featuring in this show who had Avant Garde makeup done. Each girl had a theme colour of pink, orange or purple, with very strong eyes and lips.
