Johanna Cameron

Going back to school in your 30's would be daunting for many but Johanna embraced the experience, realising she could only get out of it what she put in.

Johanna Cameron isn't short on ambition.  The 32 year old has a passion for fashion, in all it's forms, that saw her moving from a successful career in retail to the world of makeup at SRA.

After graduating from Otago University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Design,  Johanna worked in different areas of the fashion industry including knitwear and jewellery design.  In 2002 the budding entrepreneur turned her sights to opening her own label and retail store.  After many long hours the retail store "Cameron" was born.

Finally after a taste of being the 'boss' Johanna decided it was time to get back to using her natural artistic skills and start being creative again.

"... Being a student at SRA has rekindled my flame for the fashion industry.  I love the practical, hands on nature of being a makeup artist and the fact that a mistake only involves a cotton bud to fix!"

Johanna was lucky enough to take part in numerous work experience opportunites while she was a student at SRA, some of which are listed below:
