Artists who teach
Once an artist, always an artist! Our tutors bring with them experience and passion, and want to make you the best version of yourself. Meet the team!

Theresa Henry
Already working in the beauty field, Theresa took up training as a makeup artist in 2007. From there she started her first job as a makeup artist in editorial, then it was full steam ahead as she ventured further into the field of makeup artistry and all it had to offer. From the many opportunities and journeys she took, she realised her passion was beauty for the everyday person: from weddings to ball and special events or even just to make that special someone look and feel like even more special.
She's an integral part of our team as Programme Leader and our in-house facilitator of helping our students and staff unleash their potential.
"If there's the tiniest thought of artistry waiting to find an "out"', then together with our incredible team of talent, I'd like to help people on that journey."

Alex White
An art student by heart, Alex gained her Certificate in Makeup Artistry in 2010 followed by a Diploma in Production Special Effects & Sculpting for Film. These were the first steps to a fun, successful new career.
She has had opportunities to work with a multitude of brands including exclusive high end brands such as Bobbi Brown for over 12 years and has been fortunate enough to travel to Australia, Vietnam and also through Singapore learning new skills and working among world famous artists from across the globe. She loves encouraging students to use different tools and equipment - nothing should stop you! She enjoys all types of makeup from minimalistic and natural, all the way to special effects, body painting and prosthetic making.
"I love to encourage aspiring artists to evolve and push their creations to the next level in everything they do."

Da Yoon
From studying architectural design to finding her true passion for makeup, Da has always possessed a creative flair. Da trained as a makeup artist in 2015 where she was also awarded student of the year. She is New Zealand’s first makeup artist to be nominated for the Battle of the Brushes Beauty Competition at the International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS) in the 2015 and won second place!
Da loves to add a splash of colour to her makeup and seeks inspiration from the simplest things from her daily life to incorporate with her creative looks. She is an all-rounder in the industry! From experience in beauty, editorial, fashion makeup to body painting, the list goes on.
"I am passionate about sharing my tips and tricks with our students and seek to inspire and boost their motivation."
