To be able to makeup people feel and look beautiful both inside and out is the reason Aaron pursued makeup as a career. He wants to be able to pamper them and give them to experience the transformation.

He searched for quite a while to find somewhere that suited him and SRA offered everything that he was looking for to expand his knowledge and skills within the makeup industry.

Studying at SRA was a highlight of his career as it was his passion to finally do what he always wants to do and have the love and support to do it. “I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more, the tutors had/have your back 100% and show their love and support throughout! The way they taught us, the environment you study in and the people around you are all there for the same reason to fulfil their dreams in doing makeup and helping others.”

Having graduated with Excellence, Aaron became part of the SRA Creative Team, where he was given amazing opportunities within the industry such as being part of the backstage team doing makeup for Miss New Zealand 2016 and New Zealand Fashion Week 2016. Through these, his network started to grow and received several opportunities to do makeup for photoshoots as well as private functions. Not to forget, he has recently got offered a job at M.A.C Cosmetics which was one of his dreams that he can finally tick off his bucket list.
